I began
taking photographs while
working for the local
newspaper while in high
school. During those times
we worked with Minolta 101
cameras. This was a time
when smaller SLR cameras
began to come out such as
the Fuji and Olympus, which
were much smaller an
applicable to take in the
mountains where we needed
lighter weight.
On my
own I began using smaller
land cameras due to the
light weight, but in 1980
bought my first Nikon fm,
which allowed me to begin
using more lens.
During
the mid eighties, when I
began publishing articles
with photographs. I also
began working for a stock
agency and took courses on
photography at Emily Carr
College of Art and Design in
Vancouver, BC.
I have
also done gallery shows
throughout the West. |
